Obituary
Ruby Viola Clemmons Babson, 87, of Supply, NC died on Tuesday, March 8th.
Born in Supply on September 10, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel Milliken Clemmons. She was predeceased by her son, Barry Dean Babson.
Ruby was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a long-time postal worker with USPS. She loved her family, friends, mail route, and church family very much. She enjoyed spending time outside in her yard, baking, and visiting with her loved ones.
Ruby is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Myrtle and James, son; David (Charlotte); grandchildren, Zack (Katelyn) and Erica (John); great-grandchildren Ellie, Grayson, Finn and Dean, and two special nephews, Timmy (Lisa and Tiffanie) and Mark (Sandy).
A service will be conducted on Monday, March 14th at 11:00 am at New Britton Baptist Church in Ash with burial to follow afterward in the New Britton Cemetery. Visitation will be at 10:00 am at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Ruby’s memory to the Construction/Building Fund at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 494 Mt. Pisgah Road, SW, Supply, NC 28462.
