Obituary
Ruth Ann Heldreth, 64, of St. James Plantation, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Ruth Ann was born on December 22, 1951, to the late Edward E. Harwell and Ruth Young Harwell and grew up in Orange, VA.
Ruth Ann is survived by her loving husband William Heldreth of St. James, her sons John Heldreth of Stuttgart, Germany, and David Heldreth (Rebecca) of Mt Pleasant, UT, daughters Elizabeth Heldreth Hamilton (Jeremy) of Angier, NC, and Katherine Heldreth of Timonium, MD, grandchildren Madelyn and Zoey Heldreth of Mt. Pleasant, UT, and brothers Gene Harwell of Warrenton, VA, and Kelly Harwell of Birmingham, AL.
Ruth Ann was an amazing artist with a paint brush as well as with fabric and thread. She was active in the American Sewing Guild and was a dedicated duplicate bridge player. She loved spending time outdoors in her garden and taking walks. More than anything else she was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother to her family.
