Obituary
Sandra Ward Cook, 77, of Supply, NC, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021.
She was born in Norfolk, VA, on March 1, 1944 to The Rev. Howard Ward and Ida Cox Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jarvis Everette Cook and her sister, Connie Whitaker.
She was a teacher for more than forty years ending her teaching career at New Market Elementary School in Sophia, NC. She was pianist at Sharon United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Derrick Smith (Tina Marie) of Supply and Jeff Cook (Kellie) of Asheboro, NC; a brother, Howard Ward, Jr; and her grandchild, Kaitlyn Kimrey (Blake) of Asheboro.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday March 30, 2021 at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM at the funeral home
Burial will be in Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
