Sandra Jordan Roy, of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born in Medford, Massachusetts, on June 8, 1947, Sandra grew up in Medford and graduated from Medford High School with the Class of 1965. As a young woman, she studied dance under E. Virginia Williams, founder of the Boston Ballet, an experience she treasured throughout her life.

Sandra was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Roy.

She spent many years working at the Teamsters Credit Union in Charlestown, Massachusetts, where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and the lasting friendships she made throughout her career.

Sandra later made her home in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her daughter and grandsons, and adored her faithful Shih Tzu, Rocky, who was her constant companion and brought her endless love and joy.

Sandra is survived by her loving daughter, Brenda Indelicato; her beloved grandsons, Jake Indelicato and Otto Indelicato; her sister, Jacquelyn McCormick; her brother, Ralph “Rick” Jordan; her sister-in-law, Valerie Jordan; her nephew, Jordan McCormick; her nieces, Cally McCormick, Jennifer Pratti, Jessica Reed, and Janelle Maietta; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Sandra will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, generous spirit, and the love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories that will forever be held in the hearts of those who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been finalized.
