Obituary
Sandra Lee Davis, 86, died August 31, 2025, after an illness. She was a native of Akron, Ohio. After retirement, she moved to Gibsonville, NC to be closer to her grandchildren. She was a member of Gibsonville Christian Church where she sang in the choir and enjoyed Wednesday Night Bible Study.
A social butterfly, Sandra never met a stranger and shared her beautiful smile with everyone she met. She enjoyed helping her neighbors with everyday tasks. She was on a bowling league and loved to play putt-putt golf. She enjoyed dog sitting, spending time with her grandchildren at Christmas and attending their special events.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Sawyer (Meredith); son, Eric W. Davis; sister, Carol Brockert; granddaughters, Kimberly Dallas Sawyer Crouse (Nicholas) Meredith Lynn Sawyer (Jeremiah Pruitt) and Julie Shelton (Adam).
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 5, 2025, at Brunswick Funeral Service (Shallotte Chapel) by The Rev. Keith McKinney. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
