Obituary
Sarah Ruth Edge, 76, of Calabash passed away October 21, 2016. She was born in Parkton, MD, on March 10, 1940, a daughter of Vernon Tracey and Katie Tracey. She and her husband, Watis A. Edge, Sr. owned and operated Captain Andy’s Restaurant and Campground in Calabash.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Sam Edge of Salt Lake City, Utah and Watis A. Edge, Jr. (Dana) of Supply; daughters, Andrea Anover (Ray) of Apex, NC, Angela Howell (Charles) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Kathy Smith (Dave) of Brentwood, CA; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, from the Chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte, by The Rev. Larry Ward. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Entombment will be in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
