Obituary
Solomon Joseph Goulet, Jr, 83, of Sunset Beach, NC died Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
He was born on October 11, 1935 in Indian Lake, NY, the son of Solomon J. Goulet, Sr. and O’Dianne Gregrie Goulet. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Goulet; brothers, Roger Goulet, Reginald Goulet, Frank Goulet and a sister, Delores Mority
Solomon was a retired commercial truck driver and served in the U.S. Army, 3rd Infantry Regiment, where he guarded The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier as a member of The Old Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Richards Goulet; sons, Robert Goulet (Lori), Little River, SC, and Steven Goulet (Nina), Salem, NH; daughters, Cynthia Goulet, Ocean Isle Beach, NC, and Christine Manchester, Manchester, NH; sisters, Trudy Woomer (Martin), Delaware, Marie Dumont, Hampstead, NH, Betty Goulet, Methuen, MA, and Katherine Demers (Al Dupres), Chester, NH; brother-in-law, Robert Richards (Phu), Methuen, MA, grandchildren, Christopher Hylton, Jonathan Hylton, Tait Manchester, Scott Goulet, Laura Goulet, Kyle Goulet and Jessica St. Pierre; great-grandchildren, Jayden Goulet and Aurora Hylton.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
