Obituary
Susan Anne “SuSu” Kelly, age 75, of Calabash, NC passed away peacefully Sunday, July 11, 2021 at MUSC Hospital Charleston, SC.
She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on May 30, 1946 the daughter of the late Kenneth Richard Lisle and Josephine Anne Taranta Lisle.
Susan grew up in Middlesex, New Jersey. She loved to knit and to crochet in her spare time. Mrs. Kelly was an avid supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandson, and her children, her nephew and two nieces, her friends and her pets.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, John A. Kelly of the home; a son, Robert Kelly of Winston Salem, NC; a daughter, Jennifer Kelly of Woodstock, GA; a sister, MaryBeth Roome and husband, Bob of Calabash, NC; a grandson, Austin Kelly; a nephew, Kenny Boutot; two nieces Samantha Boutot and Mackenzie Boutot; her loving pets, Luke and Linus and a host of many friends.
A time of gathering will be held on at 10:00 AM Wednesday July 14, 2021 followed by a celebration of her life in Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel.
