Obituary
Theodore (Ted) Thomas Hall, 82, of Nakina, NC died November 21, 2022.
He was a son of the late Curtis C. Hall, Sr. and Helen Thomas Hall of Swannanoa, NC. He was predeceased by his brother, Curtis C Hall, Jr. of Knoxville, TN.
Surviving with his memory are his wife Marlene Gore Hall of Nakina, NC; daughters, Patty Pieper (Mike) of Denver, CO and Polly Hall of Cherokee, NC; grandchildren, Miranda Pieper, Michael Pieper, and Brandy Pieper; brothers David Hall (Libby) of Avon Park, FL and Jon Hall (Pam) of Asheville, NC; sister Elizabeth Henry of Mills River, NC; great-granddaughter Abi Wright; son, Edmund Easterling (Christine) Reseda CA, and their children, Thomas Ellis Easterling and Beverly Celeste Easterling.
He was a 1958 graduate of Owen High School in Black Mountain, NC and UNC-Asheville.
He was comptroller for SKY CITY STORES in Asheville for many years then had his own accounting firm until retirement.
He was a member of Asheville Accounting Club, Asheville Ski Club, Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce, Brunswick County Tourist Development (TBD), and former owner of Calabash Motel.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Monday, November 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Camp United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
An Inurnment Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 1, 2022 in Ashelawn Garden of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, Asheville, NC 28804.
