Obituary
Thomas Joseph Ioven, 80, of Sunset Beach, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018.
Tom was born on September 27, 1937 to the late Joseph and Virginia (Wyeth) Ioven in Philadelphia, PA. He was a generous soul who never met a stranger. He enjoyed playing golf with his many friends as part of the Sandpiper Men’s Golf League.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 15 years, Ruth; son, Douglas Ioven of PA; daughter, Ginger Ioven of VA; stepdaughter, Linda Putnam (Darrell) of DE; stepsons, Edwin Toner (Anne), Kevin Toner (Bernadette), Robert Toner (Carol) all of PA; and several grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Calabash Presbyterian Church on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11AM. A celebration of life will follow at the Sandpiper Club House at 1PM.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that you do an act of kindness for someone in memory of Tom.
