Thomas Marion Bailey, 74, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, died June 18, 2018.
Thomas was born in Albemarle, NC on November 5, 1943, a son of the late Thomas Loyd and Geneva Holt Bailey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Bailey.
He retired from Charlotte, NC Fire Department after 30 years of service with rank of Captain.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra "Sandy" Irene Holbrooks Bailey; daughter, Teresa Belcher (Willie), Holden Beach, NC; son, Steve Crooks, Ocean Isle Beach, NC; brother, Ken Bailey, Columbia, SC; sister, Joyce Wreen; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00pm in Victory Word Missions, 10000 Beach Drive, Suite 8, Calabash, NC. Reception to follow at Calabash Fire Department.
