Thomas Patrick Jasina, Sr., 73, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, formerly of Howell, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on July 21, 2022. Born in Newark, NJ, on July 5, 1949, he was a son of the late Paul Jasina and Mary Rittweger Jasina. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Paul Jasina.

Tom was a retired medical supply national sales manager, a member of the U.S. Army National Guard, and a member of the Calabash, NC Elks. For decades he coached and/or refereed a variety of youth soccer, baseball and basketball teams. He most enjoyed watching his grandchildren play the sports both he and they loved.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Dale MacKenzie Jasina; sons, Thomas Jasina, Jr. (Laura) of Westfield, NJ; Jonathan Jasina (Olesja) of Raleigh, NC; and Christopher Jasina (Theresa) of Howell, NJ; brothers, James Jasina (Tina Marie) of Edison, NJ and Leland, NC; sister-in-law, Geralyn Jasina of Colliersville, TN; sister-in-law Kathleen Kelly of Cornelius, NC; grandchildren, Kaelyn, Thomas, III, Ava, Julianna, William, and Olivia and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in St. Brendan, The Navigator, Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel.
