Thomas Patrick Kelleher

Thomas Patrick Kelleher, 83, of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Born in Peekskill, New York, on November 24, 1942, he was the son of the late Thomas A. Kelleher and Marguerite Flanagan Kelleher.

Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Calabash VFW and enjoyed spending his time golfing, playing darts, and woodcarving. An avid craftsman, he was especially known for carving detailed model ships.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Courcy Kelleher; his son, Michael Kelleher (wife Erika); his daughters, Amy Bleakley (husband Christopher), and Karen Kelleher; his brothers, Robert Kelleher, James Kelleher, and William Kelleher; his sister, Ellen Creeden; and his cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Zarah, Reilly, Regan, Ryan, and Luke.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Brunswick Funeral Service in Shallotte, North Carolina.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church. Inurnment with military honors will follow in the church columbarium.
