Obituary
Thomas William McCormack, 75, of Sunset Beach, NC died June 6, 2022.
He was born in Bronx, NY on September 16, 1946, son of the late Thomas McCormack and Anna Lee McCormack. In addition to her parents he was predeceased by his brothers, John Sheehan and William Sheehan.
He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran and Past Commander of Calabash VFW Post #7288 and was retired from the Verizon Communication Corporation.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Linden McCormack; son, Brian McCormack of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters, Jennifer Jones (Thomas) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Colleen Wix (Douglas) of Greenville, SC; sister, Ann McCormack of CA; grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Kylie, Cameron and Evan.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the Calabash VFW Post #7288, 900 Carter Drive, Calabash, NC with military honors.
The family request memorials be directed to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice “Brunswick House” 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401 in honor of Thomas McCormack.
