Obituary
Timothy “Tim” Lee Carter, 67, of Shallotte, NC died Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Born in New Hanover County, NC on October 5, 1955, the son of Bettie Lewis Hewett Carter and the late Henry Leon Carter.
He retired from the Brunswick County Maintenance Department. He was a loyal Nascar fan (Dale Earnhardt) and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Shallotte Volunteer Fire Department where he served as chief.
Surviving is his mother along with his sister Amy Carter Norris both of Shallotte, NC, and a special cousin, Rose Ann Roberts.
Services will be conducted from the graveside in Brunswick Memorial Gardens on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 3:00pm.
