Timothy “Tim” William Sears, 72, of Calabash, NC died December 12, 2021.
He was born in Carbondale, PA on February 11, 1949 a son of the late William Sears and Jeanne McDonnell Sears.
He was a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with an Engineering Degree. Prior to retirement he was employed by the U.S. Defense Department. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Submarine Service and was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Mae Hatch Sears; daughter, Kimberly Thomas (Gary) of Glen Burnie, MD; sons, Patrick Sears (Jamie) of Aberdeen, MD and Robert Coffeen (Mandi) of White Hall, MD; sisters, Marijayne Wallace (George) and Tracey Andrews (Bill) all of Carbondale, PA; brother, Jeffrey Sears (Mary Kay), Carbondale, PA; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
At his request there will not be any services.
