Obituary
Vernon Thomas Pryce, Jr., 83, of Sunset Beach, NC, died July 1, 2020. Born in Rockingham, NC, he was a son of the late Vernon T. Pryce and Bernice Dennis Pryce. He was a US Navy Veteran and a thirty-second degree Mason, Shallotte Masonic Lodge #727 AF&AM. He had retired from the transportation industry.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Shelton M. Pryce; sons, Lane Pryce of Asheboro, NC, Larry Pryce (Kary) of Rockingham, NC, Kevin Pryce of Sunset Beach, NC and Craig Mace (Carol) of Pineville, NC; daughters, Linda Janeil Pryce Mark (Allen) of Rockingham and Laura M. Ouchou of Shallotte, NC; sister, Agnes P. Hooker in Canton, GA; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 5, at First Baptist Church of Shallotte where he was a member.
Masks and social distancing will be observed.
