Victoria “Vicki” Ann Blount, 67, of Supply, NC died on July 13, 2021.

Born in Cumberland County, NC on January 4, 1954, Vicki was the daughter of the late Robert Raymond Simpler and Doris Elizabeth Duncan Simpler.

For the majority of her career, Vicki was a Registered Nurse and a certified Occupational Health Nurse with the Scotland Health Care System in Laurinburg, NC.

Vicki was also an active volunteer in her community. She was a member of the local Laurinburg chapter of the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) as well as the NC Jaycees. As a NC Jaycee, Vicki was the State Program Manager for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her Jaycee involvement earned her recognition as a Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senator. Most recently, Vicki was a member of Shallotte Presbyterian Church, serving as the Secretary and Treasurer for the church’s Presbyterian Women’s group.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Erskine Alexander Blount; daughter, Mitsi Ann Blount and her spouse of Kansas City, MO; and brother, Curtis Simpler and his spouse of Fayetteville, NC.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Shallotte Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Laura Viau and Rev. Fred Duncan.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
