Walter John Zimmerli, 76 of Shallotte, NC died December 4, 2021.
He was born is Washington, DC on June 8, 1945 a son of the late Charles Edward Zimmerli and Pauline Frances Fling Zimmerli. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Claire Zimmerli and a brother, Donald Zimmerli.
He was U.S. Army veteran and a retired postal clerk.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving and faithful companion of twenty years, Patty Milliken of Shallotte, NC; brothers, Andy Zimmerli (Lorrie) of Sharpsburg, MD and Paul Zimmerli (Kathy) of Gambrills, MD; his devoted Chihuahuas, Sookie and Taten.
At his request there will be no local service.
