Obituary
Boiler Technician Master Chief Petty Officer, Warren LeMoyne Stephens, USN, Ret.of Shallotte, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018. He was born in Crescent, PA on April 14, 1936, a son of Glenn Stephens and Hulda Brubaker Stephens. BTCM Stephens proudly served 27 years in the US Navy as an EOD Diver and becoming a dive instructor. He served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Janice Bell Stephens.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Randy Stephens and partner Johanna Hudson of Ocean Isle Beach; daughters, Shannon Duncan and husband Shawn of Ocean Isle Beach, Rose Ann Roberts of Supply; sisters, Beverly Musser and husband James of Raleigh, Barbara Hagerich of PA, Sandra Scott of PA, and Susan Stephens of Little River, SC.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 12PM in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning two hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers BTCM Stephens request memorial donations be made to the: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
