Obituary
Wayne Earle Patterson, Ocean Isle Beach passed away on Monday April 12, 2021.
Wayne was born in Greensboro, NC and lived in Ocean Isle Beach since 2001.
He served on the Ocean Isle Beach Planning Committee and truly loved the OIB beach and community. Before serving as an executive in public relations, marketing and housing, Wayne served in the US Air Force as a missile technician. Wayne was a multi engine rated private pilot and enjoyed fishing, boating and golf.
Survived by spouse Darlene Patterson, daughters Kimberly Patterson & Becky Hollars, son Tad Dixon and sisters Lynda Clark and Mary Ward.
The family will have a time of gathering to speak to family and friends on Monday April 19, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel.
