Wendell Wilmer Booth, 79, Sunset Beach, NC died June 18, 2019. He was born on May 6, 1940 in Warren, OH.
He was the son of the late Halden Booth, Sr. and Hilda Chubb Booth. He was preceded in death by his brother, Halden Booth, Jr.
Wendell retired from J.C. Penney after 36 plus years. He was President of BG Downtown Businessmen’s Falcon Club Association, VP of the Mayfield Height Jaycees, a member of the Sea Trail Men’s Golf Association.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Pat Mahoney Booth; son, Brett Booth (Debbie), Mansfield, OH; daughters, Tammy McClelland and Wendy Cushnie (Pete), both of Dublin, OH; sister, Marlene Glick (Thomas), Sunset Beach, NC; sister-in-law, Sandra Booth; brother-in-law, Tim Mahoney (Linda); and grandchildren, Blake, Katy, and Graden.
Arrangements are to be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Children’s Diabetes Foundation, 4380 S. Syracuse St., Suite 430, Denver, CO 80237, or National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
