William Clarey Crook, 94, of Sunset Beach, NC died Thursday, January 15, 2026.
Born in Badin, NC on April 24, 1931, the son of the late W.B. Crook and Nell Clarey Crook. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Glenda Crook, a son Roger Cameron Crook and two sisters Toni York and Barbara Vereen.
He retired from the Wilson Sporting Good Corp. and was a United States Army veteran. He coached the United States Army football team and was also a retired Myrtle Beach Lifeguard.
Surviving are his son Clay Crook and daughter Tracie Crook.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
