William G. Carothers
Obituary
William G. Carothers, 86, of Carolina Shores, NC, died May 6, 2020. Born in Jacksonville, FL on December 9, 1933, he was a son of William Carothers and Alda Oak Carothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Susanne Blessing Carothers.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and held membership in Masonic Lodge RR703 Ohio; the Scottish Rite Bodies; Royal Order of Scotland; York Rite No. 21; Shrine Syrian Temple; Royal Order of Jesters Court No. 7; Rotary International; and the Elks Lodge. He was a Kentucky Colonial and was retired Township Administrator in Liberty Township, Ohio.
Surviving are his wife Jacona “Connie” Jackson Carothers; daughters, Susan B. Carothers and Leigh Kerns, both of Marietta GA; son, Thomas Schull of Midland, MI; brother, David Carothers, Oakland, CA; sister, Nancy Carothers, Silver Spring, MD; and three grandchildren.
